Syllabus

This module will provide a critical/analytical understanding of the view of Non-Christian religions as put forth by the documents of the Second Vatican Council, particularly Nostra Aetate but with special reference to Lumen Gentium, Unitatis Redintegratio, Ad Gentes, and Dignitas Humanae, which includes analysis of the historical background of the relations of the Roman Catholic Church with non-Christian religions in times preceding the Second Vatican Council.
