Syllabus
The focus for this term will shift to the context of Formation and an examination of Accompaniment in that context. Beginning with an introduction to the contribution of Depth Psychology (Freud, Jung) to our understanding of personal growth and development, we will then examine and explore the relationship between psychology and spirituality with a view to clarifying what is specific to ‘spiritual growth’, ‘formation for religious life’, and ‘accompaniment’ in that context.
There will be practical sessions each week designed to ground the learning in personal experience.
